Sam Gooday (BSc FCCA CTA) - Head of Practice
Sam is qualified chartered certified accountant and chartered tax adviser, with nearly twenty years experience in public practice. Throughout her career, she has provided accounting, tax compliance and tax advisory services to a vast array of individuals and businesses with turnovers up to £20 million.
In her spare time Same loves to travel, particularly liking places with a totally different environment to home. Some of her favourite places are Botswana, Bangkok, Jordan, and Southern India. Of places less exotic she enjoys going for weekends to France where the good food and wine are a major attraction.
Matthew King (BSc FCA) - Accounting Guru
Matt is a qualified chartered account, who initially trained in public practice before a move into the investment funds industry where he specialised in the migration of complex accounting records, regulatory change, improving business processes and drinking tea.
A keen hiker and artist, Matt will often be found in a tent on a remote windswept hillside, or photographing unusual rocks to turn into abstract paintings.
Pam Everington - Emeritus Financial Ninja
Pam retired from full-time work at BG a few years ago… but she still provides additional help at busy times. Pam helps with our payroll bureau and prepares VAT returns on behalf of our clients freeing up their time to get on with running their business. Pam also provides clients with advice about a variety of VAT and payroll matters to help them meet their obligations.
Amanda King (BSc) - Financial Ninja
Amanda handles credit control and bookkeeping activities for Blitz Gooday’s clients. If you’re struggling to get your well-earned money from other people’s pockets, Amanda is the one to call! You’ll wonder how you ever managed without her!
Dr. John Gooday - Chief Propellerhead
John looks after our in-house IT and communications systems along with brand management. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and has previously provided technology consultancy to Blue-chip companies in the UK, Europe, Africa, Middle and far East.
Apparently, John understands quantum mechanics and can even open child-proof bottle caps.
Sandra Baum - Emeritus Director of First Impressions
Like Pam, Sandra has also retired from full-time work at BG but she returns to the office from time to time to provide additional support. She has extensive knowledge of practice administration and company secretarial services. She’s also well versed in the workings of tax and accounting regimes.
Tinkerbelle Hound - Accounting Top Dog
Tinkerbelle helps out with BG’s marketing images and is our go-to expert on sniffing, snoozing and slobbering.
